Thanks to our generous Chamber Makeover Sponsors, we were able to update our Chamber lobby. We are still in need of funds to update our storage area, enclose a work space, and make several improvements to the Chamber guest bathroom. The estimated cost of materials for this project is $2,000. Since this expense is not in the Chamber's budget, we are looking for additional Sponsors to cover the cost of the materials.

A BIG THANK YOU to the following Sponsors of the Chamber Makeover Project:

Additional sponsors at $200 each are needed to cover the project costs. In return for your generosity as a sponsor, we will link your company logo on the front page of our Chamber's website and you will be given recognition as a Chamber Makeover Sponsor.

Congratulations to the Chamber's Adult Leadership Graduate April Robinson - Recently promoted to Dean of Academic Affairs at Polk State College!

Polk State’s April M. Robinson is heading into her first fall semester as Polk State Winter Haven’s dean of academic affairs — and she can’t wait to get started.
Robinson began her new position on July 23.

Previously, she had worked as Polk State Winter Haven’s associate dean of academic affairs, a role she’d held since early 2012.

As dean of academic affairs, she replaces Martha Santiago, who was named provost of the Winter Haven campus in May.
